Board Members
The North Dakota State Board of Barber Examiners consists of members chosen from our Association. At the annual State Barber Association Convention, five nominees are selected and sent to the Governor, who appoints one to the Board. Each nominee must be a registered barber in North Dakota with at least five years of experience.
Board members serve three-year terms, with one expiring each December 31st. Barber shops and colleges are subject to inspection during business hours by any Board member or State Department of Health representative.
